Q sonics - 2:00PM

Q sonics is a Blues Rock band who play Blues styling from Mississippi to Motown and Texas to Chitown. Also, included in the repertoire are classics from Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.



Bobby Hunt and the Day Drinkers - 4:00PM

Bobby Hunt & the Day Drinkers are a 3 piece group of Michiana blues scene veterans. The band performs original rockin’ blues songs written by singer guitarist Rob Hutt along with an eclectic mix of classic blues and rock. The rhythm section of Brian Reedstrom on Keyboards and electric Bass along with Mark Schmid on drums completes the picture. The band has recently released 9 new original tunes that can be heard and purchased on Apple Music & Spotify.



Howard and the White Boys - 6:00PM

Howard & the White Boys formed in 1988 and began jamming together just for fun, but their fast-growing popularity soon convinced them they could make a career of it. After only a few months, they got their first big break by opening for B.B. King. Their reputation grew in Chicago and they began performing with the biggest names in blues: Koko Taylor, Otis Rush, Albert King, Junior Wells, Lonnie Brooks, Luther Allison, Bo Diddley, and Chuck Berry.

Between 1994 and 1997, the group made two highly acclaimed recordings, Strung Out On The Blues and Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner?, for Los Angeles based Mighty Tiger Records. They began traveling extensively across the United States and their growing popularity captured the attention of Philadelphia based Evidence Records. The Big $core was the first of three successful discs released by Evidence, and the band wasted no time in promoting it via the first of many trips to European countries such as Belgium, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Norway, Germany, Luxembourg, Lithuania, and England. Riding the ever-growing wave of popularity both at home and abroad, the group then released a well-received live CD for Evidence entitled Live At Chord On Blues. In 2007, Evidence released the critically acclaimed Made in Chicago which showcased the group's versatility and encompassed the funk, R & B, and rock styles that have become Howard & the White Boys trademarks.



The Mike Wheeler Band - 8:00PM

Mike Wheeler has been playing the blues for over 28 years. He did his first blues gig with Muddy Waters sideman Lovey Lee in 1984. In the early 90's he played with bassist & vocalist Joan Baby. He has since been a member of Cadillac Dave & The Chicago Redhots, Sam Cockrell & The Groove, Big Ray & Chicago's Most Wanted with Nellie Tiger Travis, Big James & The Chicago Playboys and The Grooveshakers with Peaches Staten. Mike has performed with Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Shemekia Copeland, Jimmy Johnson, Son Seals, Willie Kent and a who's who of today's Chicago Blues!

Larry Williams is a Bass Extraordinaire with unmatched stage presence and charisma. Influenced by artists such as Bennie Williams, Jerome Scott, Sam Cockrell, Larry Graham, James Jamerson, Willie Dixon, Stanley Clarke and Verdine White just to name a few, Larry's style is clean and driving, reminiscent of the late greats yet modern, enabling him to play with the best in the business. From Gospel to Alternative, Larry can play it all.

Cleo Cole began playing drums at the age of 10. He was influenced by his older brother Jethero Cole. Cleo played in his grammar and high school bands and also attended the Conservatory of Music where he was taught by Peter Romalis. He then began playing around town with various artists such as Doug McDonald, Alvin Cash, Floyd Taylor, Zora Young, Maurice John Vaughn, Shirley King, Big James, Nellie Travis, Peaches Staten, Sam Cockrell and Pistol Pete.

Jesse Lockridge is keyboardist for The Mike Wheeler Band. has been a part of the music scene in Chicago for the last 45 years. Mr. Lockridge's interest in music was sparked through piano lessons at age nine. By age nineteen, Mr. Lockridge was playing with various local bands until Chi-Sound Records hired him as a studio musician. At Chi-Sound, Mr. Lockridge performed with such greats as Minnie Riperton, The Staple Singers, Gene Chandler, The Chi-Lites and Walter Jackson. Later, he turned his talents toward Chicago blues and performed with legendary blues artists Mighty Joe Young, Elvin Bishop, Willie Dixon and Jimmy Johnson.
